The DIR Service Line is responsible for the daily operations and oversight of Transplant Program. This includes overall anagement of strategic planning, marketing, program design, implementation, financial and personnel management, effective and efficient operations process, data integrity, compliance and quality activities. The process of evaluation and process improvement will include a close working relationship with the Medical Director(s) of Service(s). In this manner, the position will play both a strong strategic role in ensuring program growth and viability as well as a tactical role of insuring that work processes are designed to produce high quality clinical outcomes cost effectively. The position's primary focus is insuring that Services are available in our communities at the most appropriate point of service. The Director will work collaboratively with the clinical teams throughout the South Denver Group, Centura Health, affiliates and existing outreach network. The Director will be responsible for service line growth within the catchment area and as a result of catchment area expansion. Minimum Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in health related clinical discipline and/or in a business management related discipline Master's Degree in business or healthcare administration strongly preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements
Seven to ten years of experience with progressive responsibility in a hospital setting; previous management/supervisory experience and clinical transplant experience in Living Donor and Multi-organ transplant Strong leadership skill set with verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and management skills Experience with development of clinical protocols/pathways and managing physician-directed services necessary Excellent command of UNOS, CMS and Joint Commission guidelines

Directs and coordinates all strategic and tactical operational activities related to providing Services.
Continuously evaluates referral base to identify opportunities for outreach and growth.
Provides leadership and management support to each member of the clinical team with a focus on maximizing the achievement potential of the team by promoting a spirit of excellence and accountability at all levels of service.
Identifies opportunity to improve Services by partnering with benchmark providers.Physicians
Partners with the physicians affiliated with the program, including the Medical Directors, to facilitate their full participation in and support alignment with the strategic and operational activities of the Program.
Facilitates the positive interaction and communication between the physicians and physicians referring to the program.
Partners with physician and clinical team to foster research opportunities.
Assures the cost effectiveness of the departments through the development and implementation of the operating and capital budgets.
Assures sound financial operations for structure for operation of service.
Actively pursues outside funding (grant, etc.) for services where appropriate.
Collaborates with the Centura Managed Care department to determine the cost components of patient care and to proactively pursue contracting opportunities with third party payers.
