PROVIDECLINICALPSYCHIATRYSERVICES TO PATIENTS AT VCUHSANDAFFILIATEDCOMMUNITYPARTNERS PROVIDECLINICALANDDIDACTICEDUCATION TO UNDERGRADUATEANDGRADUATEMEDICALTRAINEESANDOTHERTRAINEES AS ASSIGNED IN PSYCHIATRYANDMENTALHEALTH.
1. Teaching – 5% Assists with teaching and training of fellows, residents and medical students
2. Service – 5% Departmentally assigned committees, team leadership and Good Citizenship activities
3. Clinical – 90% clinical activities caring for patients, composed of 30% inpatient consultation, 20% outpatient practice, 40% liaison to specialty programs
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Board eligible or certified in Psychosomatic Medicine (or equivalent experience)
Experience working in an academic setting.
