North Tahoe Radiology is seeking a recently fellowship trained and Board Certified diagnostic radiologist to join our group in beautiful Lake Tahoe on the California/Nevada border. Lake Tahoe offers unparalleled access to winter and summer outdoor activities.
Practice is located at Tahoe Forest Hospital (TFHD) in Truckee California.
Tahoe Forest Hospital has 25 acute care beds and 36 long-term care beds. Our service area covers six rural counties, two states and approximately 3,500 square miles, reaching the communities of Truckee, North Lake Tahoe, Donner Summit, the Sierra Valley in California, and Incline Village in Nevada.
Tahoe Forest Hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, an ambulatory surgery center, intensive care, orthopedics and sports medicine, a medical/surgical unit, women and family center, home health and hospice programs, a health clinic, cancer center, long term care center, children’s center, a health and sports performance center, as well as a variety of community health outreach programs.
Services offered through our Imaging department include plain film radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, PET/CT, 1.5T MRI, and 128 slice CT. The Briner Imaging Center offers 3D tomosynthesis breast imaging, US, stereotactic and US guided breast biopsy. Interventional radiology services include biopsy, drainages, joint aspirations and vascular access. We do not perform vascular interventional procedures.
We have a vibrant, busy practice and are looking to add another recent fellowship trained radiologist to our group to continue to build the practice.
Candidate must have great communication skills and be able work solo covering all modalities. Candidate must feel comfortable performing general non-vascular interventional procedures such as lung and liver biopsies, abscess drainages, PICC placements, percutaneous nephrostomy, and breast interventions.
Teleradiology is provided through vRad and the cost is paid by the hospital.

First year is a salaried position with partnership offered after one year. After one year candidate is eligible for 401K and deferred earnings retirement plan.
Recent Fellowship training. Board certification. California and Nevada medical licenses are mandatory. California Fluoroscopy License is mandatory.
Additional Salary Information: 401K and Deferred Earnings Retirement plan available after one year of employment. All income and expenses are divided evenly after first year. First year salary is dependent on experience. We have an additional stipend provided by the hospital to insure income at an consistent level.
