The Senior Analyst of Global Asset Management is a member of the broader Global Asset Management, Assurance & Configuration Management organization within MetLife. The Senior Analyst is responsible for the daily functions of asset management, reporting, supporting audits and managing the interfaces with other vendors and systems. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with architects, developers, Internal Audit, Legal, Vendor Management Office, IT Risk & Security, Infrastructure and Business personnel across all levels of the organization. The Senior Analyst should be able to effectively communicate to both business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: •Maintain knowledge of hardware and software changes, and governing changes appropriately in response to business needs. Manage and track software licenses, IT resource volume and purchase agreements. •Knowledgeable with the tracking systems for hardware and software acquisition. •Responsible for all reporting functions within asset management. •Supporting compliance and audit functions, as needed
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required: •Strong communication and inter-personal skills with all management levels •Problem-solver, highly analytical •5 Years related IT Experience
Preferred: •Bachelor’s Degree in a related field •Experience working with contracts, legal teams/terms •Experience as a business analyst, business systems analyst, or similar •Work experience liaising with vendors for software asset management (Oracle, SAP, IBM, Microsoft) •IPAM training / certification (IAITAM)
