The Bryn Mawr School is seeking a Major Gift Officer to join their highly motivated development team. This position will seek to increase enthusiasm, advocacy, and overall gift support for Bryn Mawr. Reporting to the Director of Development and working in concert with other members of the development staff, the Major Gift Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 donor prospects using a process of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to acquire the financial support necessary to support the implementation of the strategic plan.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant of relevant experience with demonstrated success in achieving fundraising goals and strong knowledge of planned giving vehicles. S/he must have exceptional written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, exceptional judgment, proven relationship and trust-building skills, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse constituencies. S/he should thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
