Join us and start doing your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities: Interact with customers gathering support data to ensure billing accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the ASO billing function Educate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications Monitor system updates to take appropriate actions to ensure client's monthly billing is accurate Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing May also include quality assurance and audit of billing activities Processing of secondary network claim fees to invoice customers Analysis of process secondary network, to determine savings
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties Familiarity with computers and Windows PC applications (this includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications) Experience in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and formulas Ability to work between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and overtime as business needs requirePreferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance Basic accounting skills Prior experience with network and secondary claims (i.e. basic knowledge, reviewing claims) Knowledge of network coding (i.e. understanding how a network and secondary network are related to a claim) Microsoft Access experience running quires and update tablesSoft Skills: Team orientated Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each productCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
