The employee will perform administrative and time sensitive work and must exercise independent judgment in determining priorities related to managing assignments. This position requires 4 hours of driving daily, basic computer skills, excellent verbal skills and organizational and time management skills. Primary Responsibilities:Locate and retrieve prescriptions / patient demographic forms when requestedSort and file prescriptions / patient demographic forms (may include lifting up to 30 lbs.)Label older prescription file boxes for offsite storageCross train and work in all processes when neededOther duties as assignedRepetitive movements including: sit, stand, kneel, reach, and climb ladderMust be able to organize and distribute incoming and outgoing US Mail as well as internal correspondence and packages:This includes multiple locations and multiple buildingsMust be able to back up Corporate Receptionist at specified locations, if needed, including lunch coverageMust be able to use Microsoft Office to access, edit and maintain daily procedures and protocols which change frequentlyMaintain and order department suppliesPerforms all other related duties assignedPerforms distribution of office supplies within buildings
Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2 - 3 years of clerical support experienceMust be proficient in Microsoft officeRequired to drive company vehicle daily for extended periods of timeMust be able to operate standard office equipment such as copier, fax, and postage machineFamiliarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applicationAvailable to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the needs of the businessPrior stable work experienceAbility to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive Preferred Qualifications:Some collegeMailroom experienceCustomer service experience in the healthcare industryBilingual (English/Spanish) fluency preferred but not necessary Careers with WellMed.
