Managers of Network Programs may perform network analysis and strategy development and implementation; obtain data, verify validity of data, and analyze data as required, and analyze network availability and access. Other responsibilities may also include making recommendations regarding use, expansion, selection of networks for various products based on that analysis. Primary Responsibilities:Set team direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to members of own teamMay oversee work activities of other supervisorsAdapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challengesInfluence or provide input to forecasting and planning activitiesProduct, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers (internal or external)Successful candidate will have designed and implemented quality and compliance processes, prepared documentation, reporting and training on the process to process participantsAdditionally, designed measurement and accompanying reporting for quality and compliance communicationRemains curious, always alert to changing business needs; is a team player, an excellent communication, a broad thinker who translations business needs into action
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or 5 years of equivalent experience5+ years of experience working with a managed care organization, health insurer, or consultant in a network management/contract management role, such as contracting, provider services, etc.5+ years of experience in data analysis3+ years of experience managing staff3+ years of project management or project lead experience5+ years of experience with claims systems3+ years of experience with contract submission, validation and maintenance Preferred Qualifications:Intermediate level of proficiency with all facility / ancillary contract reimbursement methodologiesStrong knowledge of business processes that impact facility / ancillary contact loading and auditingAbility to convey complex or technical information in a manner that others can understandExcellent communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with various levels of leadershipAdvanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
