Under general direction of the Customer Service Manager, responds to and solves user problems/issues via remote assistance. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution. Able to resolve less complex problems immediately, while unresolved problems are escalated to appropriate resource. Typically involves use of problem management database and customer service system. May provide guidance /training for less experienced personnel.
Associates Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred. Organized, self-starter. Must be able to work independently.
No specific training or certifications are required. The following are preferred:
SCCM, Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop
MCSE or CCNA network administration experience
Problem management software
POSITION DUTIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDE% OF TIME)
CUSTOMER SUPPORT - 90%
Perform customer service duties. Tasks may include:
User account administration
Remote desktop service
Basic RAS/VPN/portal access service
Basic telecom service
Creating and handling HP interaction tickets
Triage of service requests and problem severity Data recovery
Office tool service
Application software service by knowledge base
Customer Service Analyst/user training and education
ASSESSMENT & DESIGN - 5%
Analyze, design, and make recommendations to improve existing systems and/or methods, and provide written, detailed reports of such.
Assess assigned areas for efficiencies and effectiveness. Evaluate alternative services and technology solutions on an ongoing basis and assures cost-effective solutions.
PROJECTS - 5%
Maintain complete and up-to-date project documentation for all assigned projects .
