Rush University Medical Center is seeking additional Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians to join their new outpatient surgery center in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care and involvement with teaching of medical students and residents. These positions provide opportunities for career and academic growth and leadership development. The 100,000 square foot facility, which is a partnership with Midwest Orthopedics at Rush is set to open in January 2019 and will feature a multispecialty, state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center; 65 exam rooms for patients; physical and occupational therapy; a laboratory; and full imaging services, including MRI, X-ray and CT imaging as well as a comprehensive breast imaging program with ultrasound and bone densitometry.
RUMG providers complete more than 500,000 patient visits a year across more than 70 sites of care. RUMG continues to grow rapidly both on the hospital campus and in the community, with new outpatient facilities scheduled to come on line each year through 2020. These state-of-the-art facilities will allow us to deliver patient care across a wider region, improving access for our current patients and enabling us to bring academic medicine to more people in our new and existing communities.
