The Social Work Department invites applications for one tenure track position at the rank of Associate Professor or higher. This position is a full time, 9 month appointment with an anticipated start date of August 20, 2018.
A Doctorate in Social Work or Social Welfare with an MSW from a CSWE accredited program is preferred. Special consideration will be given to candidates with some experience in using innovative instructional technologies (distance education), especially teaching in the area of clinical research, statistics, micro-macro-practice, social welfare policy and gerontology. Candidates should have at least two years of practice experience, strong graduate teaching skills, an interest in the program leadership and administration, and be committed to scholarship, symposia presentations, and university/community service. Advanced credential/licensing or eligibility, in Social Work, is strongly preferred.
