Facility Methodist Health System Department Medical Staff Schedule Shift Day Hours 8-5
Where You're Needed
Methodist Dallas is looking for a full-time Medical Staff Coordinator who will support Medical Staff leadership in all Medical Staff activities and acts as a liaison between Medical Staff, Administration, and other departments at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. You will perform all tasks related to processing medical staff and allied health professional applications for appointment to the medical staff.
Your Job Requirements:
High school Diploma or Equivalent required
CPCS or CPMSM Certification preferred
2 years' experience with a minimum of one year in credentialing physician and allied health professionals
Ability to concentrate, adapt to frequent interruptions and work efficiently
Able to follow oral and written instructions
Able to professionally and effectively communicate (orally and in writing).
Computer skills to Operate Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Demonstrates loyalty, reliability, tactfulness, and honesty
Experience in medical terminology
Maintains emotional stability and a calm disposition
Your Job Responsibilities:
Accurately and timely perform all procedures related to processing medical staff and allied health applications for appointment to medical staff.
Accurately and timely performs all procedures related to processing medical staff and allied health applications for reappointment.
Other Duties as Assigned, includes but is not limited to miscellaneous data entry after action by the Board of Directors, offering to help when certain applications become urgent.
