And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The role of the Case Coordinator is to manage assigned cases from an end to end process while meeting MSLA's contractual requirements. Primary Responsibilities:Properly authenticate each caller before verifying or releasing any information Place outgoing and receive incoming calls to and from Veterans regarding Compensation & Pension exams Schedule Veteran examinations and diagnostic testing Confirm and reschedule Veteran appointments and diagnostic testing as necessary Ensure all pertinent information is documented correctly and appropriately in MSLA's database Explain the purpose of attending the Compensation & Pension exams, explain approximate time frames for returning reports to the VA and explain the process for travel reimbursement Explain policies and procedures of MSLA and Veterans Affairs to Veterans who are not familiar with MSLA or the VA process Listen to Veterans comments, concerns and suggestions, relaying that information internally, while ensuring Veteran satisfaction Maintain maximum security while implementing and enforcing HIPPA with medical providers, Veterans and VA employees Respond timely to e-mail sent by Veterans Communicate with MSLA VA Departments when needed
Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of experience performing customer service related duties Proficient in general computer use and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications:Able to follow routine procedures consistently and efficiently Able to work independently, and in conjunction with team members at all levels of the organization Able to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented Organized Adaptable Able to consistently follow through Self-motivated Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude Ability to work in a high paced environment Ability to solve problemsIf the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
