The Program Coordinator of Admissions Operations will support a wide variety of activities within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, University Orientation and First Year Experience (UAUOFYE) at The Ohio State University; works closely with the Associate Director of Credentials Evaluation area to set strategic goals and effectively manage priorities; develops and maintains a thorough understanding of admissions policies and procedures and applicants data; develops and maintains tools and resources to support processing efficiencies and timely resolution of undergraduate domestic and international application-related issues; manages the internal and external email help lines; researches and resolves problems and serves as primary contact for internal and external university staff; assess operational and technical training needs for UAUOFYE staff and coordinates training activities appropriately, creates training/documentation modules and delivers training; manages electronic workflow; assists with the evaluation of the authenticity/acceptability of domestic and international high school and/or secondary post-secondary documents and determines acceptability; reviews the accuracy of information in designated pages on the Student Information System (SIS) and updates/maintains information as appropriate; identifies GPA/credit hours for international post-secondary documents and enters information into SIS; this position will work closely with internal partners to ensure operational and technical training needs within UAUOFYE are met; represents Undergraduate Admissions Operations on UAUOFYE committees and events as needed; completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; cover letter and resume; understanding of basic training principles and familiarity with higher education; comfort in representing/presenting/training; strong computer software proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.); effective oral and communication skills; ability to interpret, analyze and summarize a broad range of training needs within a large organization; this position requires successful completion of a background check.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Student Information System; experience in admissions or higher education; highly detailed oriented, yet able to connect individual decisions to larger strategic efforts, collaborative and team-oriented working style; current knowledge of college/university admission policies and procedures.
Target Salary: $16.83 - $21.64 Annually
