OhioLINK seeks a Resource Acquisitions and Contracting Assistant to support the overall mission of the group and in particular to serve as an integral part of the OhioLINK process of acquiring and licensing content centrally for OhioLINK libraries.
OhioLINK is seeking to fill the position of Resource Acquisitions and Contracting Assistant (RACA). The individual in this position provides administrative support and assistance to OhioLINK’s Deputy Director, serving as an integral part of the OhioLINK process of acquiring and licensing content centrally for OhioLINK libraries. In this capacity, the RACA will assist the Deputy Director with processing resource contracts with vendors and soliciting OhioLINK member participation. This position works collaboratively across many departments, including the OH-TECH Business Office, OSU Legal Affairs, and liaises with vendors in the development of acceptable agreements. Work Environment and Culture: The Resource Acquisitions and Contracting Assistant will report to the Deputy Director of OhioLINK at the Ohio Technology Consortium main office, located on Ohio State University’s West Campus. The Consortium functions as an umbrella organization for Ohio’s statewide technology infrastructure that includes: The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC), the Ohio Academic Resources Network (OARnet), and OhioLINK.
Funded by the Ohio General Assembly through the Ohio Department of Higher Education, OH-TECH reports to the Chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education. All fiscal and legal services are provided by the Ohio State University, with direction from the Vice President of Research. Through committees and direct contact with faculty and student researchers, OH-TECH is well positioned to meet the needs of those who require our resources. And to plan for future acquisitions and services, OH-TECH relies upon the guidance of the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the advice of committees to achieve and sustain national eminence.

Target Salary: $17.30 - $20.19 Hourly
