The School of Medicine, Department of Pediatricsis currently in need of a Manager of Health Programs in the Division ofImmunology and Rheumatology. TheHealth Programs Manager will manage one or more community outreach programs ofsubstantive size and budget in support of the STAR TRACK adolescent HIV healthcare program. STAR TRACK, Special Teens At Risk – Together Reaching Access,Care, and Knowledge, is first program in the state of Maryland to providecomprehensive care for HIV+ adolescents. This position coordinates the dailyactivities and staff functions within the program, sets goals and createstactics to achieve program objectives, and hires and trains staff as needed.

Plansand coordinates daily activities of a community outreach program, includingdeveloping protocols of services related to patient, subject and communitycontact.
Collaborates with researchstaff to de develop protocols and insure their timelyimplementation. Evaluates program results and adjusts methods accordingly.
Supervises, trains,schedules and evaluates professional, research and or clerical staff.
Coordinates and assistsin training programs for volunteers, professionals and/community.
Identifies and pursuesoutside funding sources. Researches grants and participates in grantwriting.
Education: Bachelor's degreein a health related field.
Experience: 4 years ofexperience in a related field with at least 2 years supervision, programplanning and coordination experience required.
