Provides intensive outreach and participates in educating the community about the Health Insurance Marketplace, helps them understand their health plan choices, and facilitate their selection of the plan that is right for them in a fair, accurate, culturally and linguistically competent manner. The coordinator works closely with uninsured people in the community. Works collaboratively with funder and is responsible for data reporting requirements.
AA/ AAS in related field required, BA in Public Health, Social Work or other related field preferred.
Navigator license required.
2 years related experience in outreach, marketing, insurance brokering, public health/ education, canvassing/community organizing, program recruitment and retention.
Availability on evening/ weekends as needed to meet program requirements.
Must be accessible via cell phone.
Must have accessibility to a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current vehicle insurance.
