The Roswell Park Cancer Institute has an immediate opening for an Interventional Radiologist. Roswell Park has a growing Interventional Radiology (IR) practice primarily oriented to Interventional Oncology looking to add a third fellowship trained radiologist. Our practice currently consists of two Interventionists and a procedural PA who provide venous access, transcatheter therapies, ablations, and CT and US guided biopsies in addition to general IR services. The position is entirely interventional radiology within a department of twenty-one fellowship trained radiologists. We provide state of the art equipment, with a second IR suite under construction, to be completed in six months. Roswell Park Cancer Institute is a NIH-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with a long history of patient centered care and innovation with a strong relationship to the Buffalo community and surrounding area. Clinical departments maintain many collaborative relationships. We are associated with a basic science research center and, although we are not part of a radiology residency program, participate in medical student education through the University of Buffalo medical school and work extensively with surgical and medical fellows. While there are numerous opportunities for research, our department is primarily clinical oriented, with most staff exclusively dedicated to clinical work.
