The Assistant Director of Student Affairs for Diversity & Inclusion will work with the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and the Student Affairs leadership team to 1) develop and execute programming designed to improve the quality of student life, support professional development, and enhance the academic mission; 2) cultivate and enhance the diversity and inclusion of the Law School community; working with affinity groups to support diversity initiatives. 1. Primarily responsible for working with affinity groups and students across a spectrum of diverse backgrounds, with a special focus on historically underrepresented groups, to identify and address areas of opportunity and concern develop and implement programs and initiatives with students to enhance inclusiveness and diversity. Develop a sustainable suite of programs to create a culture of belonging, create opportunities for students to engage with students, faculty and staff on issues of equity, diversity and inclusion. 2. Assist in building diversity, inclusion, and equity programs through the Office of Student Affairs in collaboration with other offices at including: Academic Affairs, Admissions, Alumni Affairs, Career Development, and the Graduate Program. 3. Coordinates law student conferences from planning to execution, meeting regularly with students, advising on planning and logistics, managing logistics for conference panelists and attendees (including travel and hotel reservations), attending each conference and addressing issues that arise. 4. Supports the overall mission of the Office of Student Affairs collaborates with members of the Student Affairs team to plan and support various student programming initiatives including student wellness, professional development, academic advising as well as special events including orientation and graduation.

Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two to four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
