1) Assists in facilitating the Upward Bound program.
2) Demonstrates competence in subject area of tutoring, such as having taught the subject or having earned a 3.0 or greater.

While performing duties of this job, the employee regularly exhibits digital dexterity when entering data into computer. The employee frequently sits for extended periods of time, and occasionally stands and walks. Employee converses verbally with others in person and by telephone. Vision demands include close, relatively detailed vision. Employee may occasionally lift or exert force of up to 10 pounds when moving files, boxes or other materials.
Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal skills: A strong preference will be given to candidate who decorates sensitivity to diverse audiences because of personal experience overcoming economic, educational and racial barriers. Ability to: identify where students are weak and provide remediation.
High School Diploma or GED. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).

Columbus State Community College has been meeting the diverse educational needs of the Central Ohio community for more than 50 years.
