The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a Program Coordinator - Academic Support for the Nursing Department. UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio, located in Blue Ash, Ohio with an enrollment of approximately 5100 students.
The Program Coordinator will oversee day-to-day administrative functions of the UC Blue Ash Nursing Program. The primary functions of the position include (a) working collaboratively with the department chair, faculty, and other staff to effectively and efficiently plan, design, monitor, and coordinate functions pertaining to the Nursing Department; (b) compiling statistics and preparing reports; (c) in collaboration with other department faculty and staff, develop and maintain systems for monitoring data for program needs (d) interact and serve as a liaison for the department with college and university offices, students, and external partners; (e) assist the department with scheduling needs, overseeing budgets, departmental meetings and events, and general office requests to ensure that all departmental needs are met in a timely manner and (f) perform duties based on department need.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1 year experience; OR associate degree with 3 years experience; OR 5 years experience. Experience must be in program coordination.
Ideal Qualifications: Candidate will have previous higher education or program coordination experience in complex programs and have experience with coordinating and/or maintaining professional program accreditation. The candidate will also have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Blackboard. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to excellence is also ideal.
