The Medical Staff Services Specialist coordinates and implements activities involved in ensuring provider compliance within the scope of JCAHO, National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA), federal and state regulations and facility policy. Coordinates and facilitates New Provider Orientation and ongoing provider communications.

Associates degree or equivalent required.
One year of experience in credentialing and/or project management, preferably in a hospital setting, with working knowledge of JCAHO, NCQA, and other regulatory requirements.
Strong aptitude for detail, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and be diligent and self-motivated.
Must be proficient in the use of database, spreadsheet and word processing software.
Knowledge of medical terminology and web site management preferred.
