Development Director manages and creates fundraising strategies for board, individual, foundation, and government for total annual giving of $1.5 million within an operating budget of $2.2 million. The position reports to the Founding Artistic Director and works closely with the Managing Director and members of the Board of Directors. The Development Team includes a Development Associate and the Development and Strategic Partnerships Manager.
With an emphasis on Mosaic’s individual giving program and major funder stewardship, the Development Director collaborates cross-departmentally, taking a holistic approach to patron engagement, promoting an organization-wide focus on development.

The position requires proven, strategic fundraising experience (2+ years); strong writing, communication, and budgeting skills. A passion for theater, management experience, and knowledge of PatronManager and WealthEngine software are a must.
