The Coordinator, Donor Relations is responsible for:
Implementing special events and programs with a major donor focus.
Supporting the Trust's sports teams' stewardship initiatives as well as overall media needs as a part of this focus.
Liaising with Child Life to assist with patient involvement at our events and programs.
Helping to implement the Trust's office-wide protocols and policies through his/her management of events and programs.
Under the direction of the Director of Donor Relations and working closely with Development & Campaign and Corporate Development & Special Events staff, centrally overseeing and coordinating aspects of the Trust's cultivation and stewardship events program including invitation list development, registration and tracking, event logistics, media aspects and follow-up.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles and concepts typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years' experience in development, marketing or customer service.
The knowledge of computer literacy and facility; knowledge of donor database and Access program desirable.
Excellent planning and organizational skills; the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is essential.
Experience working with trustees and other top-level volunteers is desirable.
The ability to work under pressure and to meet multiple deadlines.
The ability to work as part of a team.
This is a five-day per week position; however, attendance at evening and weekend events is expected.
