This position is in the area of mathematics. Required qualifications include a master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, and teaching experiences at the undergraduate level. The responsibilities and duties of this position include teaching 4 classes per semester, as well as service works such as committee assignments.
Finalists will be asked to discuss the importance of the values of diversity and inclusion for our college and departments, and how the topics of diversity and inclusion may be incorporated into their teaching and research.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned masters and/or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree in mathematics, the capability of teaching large classes, teaching upper level mathematics classes for math majors, especially in the area of actuarial sciences, and demonstrated commitment to and experience with teaching a diverse student body.
