Analyst, People Consulting Team (1702146) – Virtual
We are looking for someone to join our People Consulting Team (PCT). The team provides differentiated HR solutions to BASF business and functional units, including manufacturing sites. It is responsible for the execution of consulting solutions across the following areas: Talent, Leadership, Organization Development, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Engagement, Culture, and Change Management. The team acts as an internal consulting team, and the workload is determined by the annual demand plan generated by the strategic contracting process with BASF business and functional units. The People Consulting Team is also responsible to manage and respond appropriately to just-in-time demand.
Formula for Success: You Will...
Research data requests made by People Consultants as part of overall project engagement deliverables.
Query and mine large data sets to discover transaction patterns; examine data and filter for targeted information.
Develop analysis, insights, and reporting for People Consultants.
Design and deliver content in an understandable format.
Contribute to, and may also be responsible for, ownership and execution of project deliverables, particularly in the analytics space.
Contribute to the population of quarterly PCT metrics
Contribute to the feedback loop between PCT and the relevant Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in order to communicate emerging trends and future needs.
Assist in developing leadership-level presentations from initial storyboarding to logical structuring to presentation and delivery.
Support continuous improvement efforts within the team to ensure that project approaches and deliverables are consistently documented, maintained for future reference, and available as templates for future project work

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, data insights, or a related field; OR at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, data insights, or a related field without a degree.
Background in Human Resources, as well as with predictive modeling and statistical methods, particularly in social science contexts, is a plus.
Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare executive summaries of analysis.
Familiarity with reporting tools/software and similar applications, along with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, SharePoint); HRIS experience is a plus.
Intellectual curiosity and a passion for integrating analytics and data to drive business insights.
Solid communication and presentation skills, combined with strong competencies in responsiveness, follow-through, flexibility, initiative, and tact.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-caliber, dynamic environment with a complete focus on providing quality results/deliverables.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills, with ability to conduct both independent and collaborative research; capacity to multi-task as well as manage multiple projects.
Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
Work locations are flexible, but must be located within a reasonable driving distance to a major regional airport. Project Analysts may choose to work from a virtual home office or from one of BASF's HR sites, and shall meet in person with PCT members as needed.
