The Making Healthy Decisions team is looking for health educators to serve as facilitators for two new health education programs for adolescent girls in the Pittsburgh area.
Facilitators will receive paid training at CMU to implement Your Move, a sexual health program, and Eat Smart, a nutrition program. The programs will be delivered to groups of 7-12 female adolescents at CMU campus and youth-serving organizations around Pittsburgh through May 2018. Both programs consist of seven 75-minute sessions. Applicants must have prior experience working with youth and/or adolescents, and must be comfortable leading program sessions and answering youth questions related to sex, contraception, and health. Most sessions will be held after school hours. Weekends and evenings will be required. Reliable access to transportation is required.
