Associate Athletic Director for the Student-Athlete Success Center

The Associate Athletic Director position serves as the primary administrator for the department's Student Athlete Success Center and oversees the provision of services designed to facilitate the holistic development of student-athletes including advising, counseling, tutoring, leadership development and eligibility monitoring.
At least 5 years of experience working with student-athletes in a post-secondary level in academic support.
Ability to manage a comprehensive program and staff in alignment with NCAA, NSIC, MNSCU, and WSU policies and procedures
Knowledge of NCAA, NSIC, and WSU rules and applying them to student-athletes
Ability to hire, train, and supervise staff
Knowledge of retention factors and best practices in working with at-risk students
Computer Skills (email, word processing, Excel, Power Point, video editing, Access, Publisher, web page development)
Established organization skills
Knowledge of university academic majors and programs
Working understanding of wide degree of careers with according majors
