Seneca is seeking a part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on a contractual basis. The Psychiatrist provides evaluation, medication dispensing and monitoring, and consultation with the treatment team. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist assures that quality services are provided to clients and their families.

Complete initial and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine medication and treatment needs
Prescribe and monitor medications
Provide consultation and education to treatment staff regarding medication use as part of the treatment regimen
Maintain timely and accurate paperwork, including Medi-Cal documentation
Additional responsibilities as by the Program Director, Assistant Program Director and/or Agency Medical Director
8-16 hours per week position
Contracted position, compensation commensurate with experience
Board certification or board eligibility in General Psychiatry
Active California Medical License
Completion of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
Current and valid DEA Certificate
Successful completion of Seneca's credentialing process
Proof of liability insurance
Own vehicle, valid California Drivers License and insurance
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
