Tenure Track Faculty - Public Health University of St. Thomas
Overview The University of St. Thomas Department of Health and Human Performance invites applications for a tenure-track position in Public Health.
We seek applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level and who are dedicated to developing an active research program that engages students. We are particularly interested in applicants who have teaching or research interests in nutrition and public health.
The successful applicant will teach undergraduate public health courses; supervise student projects; engage students in research opportunities; and participate in building the overall vision and growth of our Public Health program.
We encourage applications from candidates who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and demonstrated success in working with diverse populations of students. This new faculty member also will provide leadership in developing curricula and experiential learning opportunities, with internships in public health sectors and service-learning throughout the community.
Qualifications The qualified candidate must have excellent ability to teach undergraduates and incorporate them into meaningful research. A Ph.D. (U.S. or foreign equivalent degree) in Public Health or a related field required or alternatively, ABD candidates will be considered.
