The Carleton College Department of Mathematics and Statistics anticipates hiring for a tenure-track position in Analysis, broadly defined, at the Assistant Professor level, to begin September 1, 2018. Ph.D. in hand or imminent completion by that date is expected. Appointment at a higher level may be considered in exceptional cases.
Carleton is a highly selective liberal arts college with a student body of 2,000 located forty-five miles south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our academic year consists of three ten-week terms. The fourteen-member Department of Mathematics and Statistics resides in a modern building with excellent facilities including a dedicated computing lab. The faculty is passionate about teaching and active in scholarship.
