Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) and the Department of Pediatrics of the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) seek applications and nominations for a leadership position in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology provides outstanding care for children with benign and malignant hematologic disorders and pediatric malignancies, in conjunction with the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (BMSCH-RWJUH). There are exciting opportunities for basic, translational, and clinical research, in collaboration with the rich research community of the CINJ, RWJMS and Rutgers University, including our children's academic campus in New Brunswick, comprised of the RWJMS Department of Pediatrics, the Child Health Institute of New Jersey, the BMSCH-RWJUH, and the PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital.
Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey is one of only 45 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, the only such center in New Jersey, and is a leader in laboratory, clinical prevention and public health science. CINJ, part of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is located in central Jersey and is associated with a vibrant research and educational community including RWJMS and Princeton University. Minimum Education and Experience:
The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree and demonstrated successful administrative and leadership experience within an academic medical center. Candidates should be internationally recognized for their outstanding cancer research and should be dedicated to applying this new knowledge to the benefit of patients. A skilled and energetic leader is sought who has the ability to develop exciting collaborative research projects, attract national research grants, and who can work with community and patient advocacy groups.
