The Assistant to the Vice President for Student Life / Director of Student Life Assessment and Planning supports the Vice President for Student Life as part of a team with the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Life. This includes responsibilities for project management, divisional assessment and planning, communications and marketing, annual institutional events, and budget management. This individual administers the Elon Experiences Transcript, coordinates division annual reports and committees, and helps prepare communications and presentations for the Vice President.
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or Business Administration, and 4-6 years of full-time experience in Higher Education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong skills with assessment, strategic planning, administrative writing, interpersonal communication, and presenting
Experience with engaged learning and high impact practices
Demonstrated experience building partnerships and relating effectively with diverse constituents including students, faculty, senior staff, parents, alumni, trustees, and leaders in the profession
Ability to apply theory to practice, including student development, identity formation, learning theory, leadership, and group dynamics
