This position provides direct administrative support to the lead faculty member and secondary support to other faculty and professional research staff in this group, who conduct original statistical research and provide wide-ranging biostatistical support to multiple scientific research projects in a fast-paced and dynamic group within the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Operating as the main point-person for all research staff associated with this lead faculty member - Calendar management - Drafting/sending correspondence - Preparation and/or editing of presentation materials using PowerPoint and Latex - Proofreading and editing of manuscripts - Scheduling of travel arrangements and processing reimbursements - Development and organization of seminars' - Coordination of international meetings and other event planning - Database entry/management - Research protocol processing and coordination - Website content management - May assist with the preparation of materials for grant proposals - Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. - Intermediate-level proficiency or above in a variety of software applications including Outlook, Word, Word Equation Editor, EndNote, Excel, PowerPoint, MathType, a LaTex editor such as WinEdt, and WordPress is strongly preferred.
Must be able to multi-task, provide accurate and timely results with attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines. Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to be independent and pro-active in a busy and fast-paced environment.
