We are currently seeking an administrative assistant to support the experiential education office in our School of Pharmacy. In this role you would serve as the first point of contact for the office and deliver support for the critical introductory and advanced educational rotations for pharmacy students. This position requires strong communication skills and attention to detail and provides a great opportunity to work closely with college administrators, faculty, staff, pharmacy preceptors and students to ensure course academic needs as well as student learning needs are met through recordkeeping, compliance, data management and correspondence. In addition, the position handles budgeting, administrative tasks, office scheduling, student data entry and management, supports pharmacist preceptor development, and leads student workers. Do you have:
A bachelors degree or associates degree/high school diploma with a strong administrative work history.
Two years’ administrative support experience in a detail-oriented, dynamic office environment, preferably supporting academic programs or offices.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong database MS Access skills preferred.
Strong interpersonal relations skills and the ability to communicate professionally with diverse audiences.
Outstanding organization skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, expert proofreading skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
Customer service focus and the ability to work effectively with pharmacy site personnel and students; good telephone etiquette.
Demonstrated history of embracing diversity and promoting inclusion.
