Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Development Department is seeking a passionate, highly motivated, detail oriented Development Coordinator to join its Event Production team.
Working directly with the Event Production Manager, you will coordinate all event details with internal stakeholders, MSKCC at large, and external vendors. You will be responsible for planning and producing a wide variety of events in support of the Development Department.
Maintain extensive calendar of events
Work across multiple teams in Development and MSKCC at large to plan and coordinate logistics for various donor events (this includes pre-event,event day(s), and post-event phases)
Create, update, and communicate all event production and logistic details to appropriate parties (including, but not limited to: site visits, staff plans, production schedules, run of show, catering, and audio visual needs)
Manage overall quality control of event execution to ensure company standards, policies and procedures are maintained
Work within budget expectations for event
Supports Event Production Manager as needed
Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information.

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years event production/special events experience; previous experience in non-profit a plus
Previous experience in planning and execution of large scale events
Excellent project management skills
The ability to travel (light) to scheduled events
The ability to lead many different projects independently in a fastpaced environment
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
