Advertised Summary Job Description: Reporting to the Senior Director, the Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for supporting key L&D initiatives including new hire orientation, online learning, spring/fall training calendar and other training engagements as assigned. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to) classroom set-up, workshop materials and updates, workshop evaluation and metrics, monitor training course enrollment and facilitate new hire orientation and fundamental skill building courses.
General Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years related experience required.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: - Strong project management skills in a complex environment are required. - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. - Strong ability to work within a collaborative environment, multi-task, and work within aggressive time-frames. - Demonstrated ability to maintain energy, enthusiasm and commitment. - Excellent ability to analyze, structure, and synthesize information. - Strong project management, time management and follow-up skills. - Superior PC skills with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio and Access. Other knowledge of e-learning software an asset.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in OD/OE or a related field preferred.
