Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Practice Supervisor-LOC.
In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary:Supervise and provide support to secretarial staff. Responsible for monitoring performance and addressing issues as needed. The Practice Supervisor also has primary responsibility for monitoring the phone system, ensuring appointments are scheduled in a timely fashion and voicemails are retrieved.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists with training of new staff.
Provide back-up secretarial coverage and support as needed.
Order and stock supplies within the office practice suite.
Maintains physician schedule changes.
Monitor the phone system which records the total calls answered, hold times and also adding/removing agents from the phone queues based on volume.
Oversee scheduling, problem solving and performance monitoring.
Demonstrates knowledge of the organizations Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have extensive experience within a practice setting, three years preferred. Extensive experience and competency with varied computer hardware and software, including word processing, spreadsheet, database, scheduling, communications and presentation applications.Writing skills to compose and edit logical, detailed, comprehensive and grammatically correct correspondence.Superior typing skills to prepare correspondence with speed and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:AAS or Commercial/Secretarial School Diploma. Supervisory experience. Knowledge of Rheumatology.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
