In this position, you will assist the Equipment Manager by providing coordination, organization and planning for all areas of equipment operations. Main focus is Olympic sports, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball.
• Assists the Equipment Manager in daily operations of the equipment room and the hiring and supervision of all support staff. • Provides proper fitting techniques for all uniforms/apparel and protective equipment to ensure the highest standards for safety are achieved. • Provides administrative support for all events and activities of the Olympic sports and Men's Basketball. • Consults with head athletics trainer to determine specific equipment needs for injured student-athletes and related equipment issues. • Assists in the preparation and management of the budget for equipment operations in accordance with the Office of Business Affairs. • Assists in the development and maintaining of a computerized inventory management, an effective student manager program for proper coordination of equipment operations and record keeping systems. • Coordinates with the head coaches for the Olympic sports and Men's Basketball on the procurement of all equipment needs, all equipment-related team travel logistics, and all other game operations issues. • Position will serve as contact for Volleyball, Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Basketball, Swim/Diving, Track & Field, Softball and Women's Tennis. Position will support Football and home games as necessary. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum of 6 months job related experience
