The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry has an opening for a full time clinician at the Associate Professor level.
The principal focus of this position will be the provision of neurosurgical patient care at Arnot Health, located in Elmira NY. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a full clinical schedule providing Neurosurgical surgery services in several locations; outpatient office and OR. The person in the role will be responsible for enhancing our relationship with regional physicians and hospitals to ensure that care is accessible and provided in the appropriate setting. Education of residents, medical students and physicians is part of the role.
Candidate must have an MD degree with board certificate/board eligible in Neurosurgery. The applicant must be eligible for a NYS license.
