This position is the central point of administrative contact for the Jonathan M. Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship, managing the Centerâ™s calendar, coordinating meetings and travel plans, and assisting visitors. This position also supports web, social media, and Google doc needs; provides logistical and promotional support for conferences and events; processes financial transactions; and coordinates teaching and course-related support services.
Associate's degree and 2 - 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a higher-education, a startup or a non-profit setting highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Demonstrated interest in learning about entrepreneurship.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience working with students and faculty a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Computer skills/experience in: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe In-design and website management programs (especially Wordpress).
Demonstrated proficiency in working with technology.
Ability and flexibility to handle competing priorities in a multi-task environment where interruptions are frequent
Demonstrated attention to detail and proofreading skills.
The ability to work independently, with a highly professional demeanor
