In collaboration with the team psychiatrist, coordinates, schedules, and administers medical assessments of client physical health, making appropriate referrals to community physicians for further assessment and treatment, and coordinates psychiatric treatment with medical treatment. Under the direction of the team psychiatrists and in collaboration with other RN’s on the team, organizes and manages the system of getting medication to clients and ensures that the Medication Delivery Record is maintained for each client. Work is performed in FACT office, as well as in the community where most contacts occur. On-call covering nighttime and weekend hours as requested. Must have valid Florida driver's license, have automobile liability insurance, personal vehicle and a driving record that is acceptable to Suncoast Center. Must be able to complete a level II background screening and pre-employment drug test in compliance with Florida Law.
Education:Nursing degree from accredited program or a state-approved educational program.
Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
Experience: Experience with individuals diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness preferred.
