Provides professional design services for university facilities to meet client requests/needs.
Provides small project designs, including plans and specifications.
Writes instructions and coordinates the purchase of furniture, equipment, and materials involving projects.
Performs routine to complex assignments using existing procedures.
Provides context on functional policies, as requested.
Performs a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities and makes recommendations for improvement/efficiency, as necessary.
Researches and analyzes information and uses standard practices to make informed judgments and recommendations.
Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, noting when obstacles may impact outcomes
Exchanges information, asks questions, and checks for audience understanding.
Develops working relationships with various internal parties and may work with external parties, as needed.
Requests components and supplies for construction projects, interacting with vendors to obtain price and product information.
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Processes conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within the Construction & Design function and applies this knowledge to complete routine to complex assignments.
Applies general and/or operations knowledge developed through education and experiences.
Knowledge of Autocad Software.
