This position is responsible for assisting the Department Manager and Financial Coordinator in day to day departmental functions, including support of the financial aspects of the departmentâ™s many grant, gift and operating accounts; act as a resource and researcher to solve many of the requests, problems and questions regarding spending on accounts, credit card purchases and study participant payments. In addition, they will assist in executing and developing the department internal processes.
Required: Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years of financial and budget experience, preferably in an academic/research setting
Excellent administrative and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize own workload.
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail software applications required; Word and Excel required. Workday experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Organized and detailed oriented
Excellent communication and customer service skills, plus ability to maintain confidentiality.
