The SMART Space, Champlain College’s Academic Support Center, provides services to 3750 students annually and over 700 individual coaching appointments. The successful candidate would be part of this new and exciting initiative by becoming the primary liaison between our academic support services and our Continual Professional Studies online program. Experience working with online students, developing best practices for online support and the protocols needed, scheduling and implementation of individual appointments, provide direct services in coaching, and managing the data for CPS students utilizing our services would be the essential elements of this role. Direct services in coaching requires a proficiency in teaching strategies related to executive function as well as time management, organization, research and writing papers, study skills, test-taking, and mindfulness. Researching, creating, and presenting appropriate instructional materials is required as well as collecting data to assess the impact of our program and determine future needs to meet our department’s mission.

The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Education and/or coaching certifications. Higher education experience preferred.
