Responsible for the overall management and success of all addiction services (drug-free and medication assisted treatment), program development and implementation including staffing patterns, program need identification, financial oversight and planning, monitoring service delivery, compliance, performance improvement, quality assurance processes, staff development and all other patient related services and staff related issues.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: (and other duties as assigned)
Integrate Traditional Drug & Alcohol programs with Medication-Assisted Treatment programs.
Operational responsibility for all assigned programs.
Responsibility for ensuring that program goals and objectives are met in accordance with contractual obligations and city, state and federal regulations and policies.
Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of policies and standards which ensures the highest possible level of client services. Responsibility for the ongoing monitoring and response to fiscal performance, and conformity of program licensing and “best practice” with standards.
Responsible for the maintenance of an ongoing plan for staff training development of new program initiatives.
Report to the President and CEO of NET regarding progress and deficiencies in all services under their responsibility.
Submits narrative and statistical reports as required.
Participates in the development and operationalization of assigned portions of the corporate strategic plan.
Perform any other duties as assigned under supervision of the President and CEO of NET.
Serves as a member of the Executive Committee of NET, and may hold corporate-wide responsibilities as assigned.
Prepare for and participate in program accreditation and licensing reviews
Master’s degree from an accredited college
At least 10 years’ experience in management
Prior experience in leading multi-site recovery-oriented drug and alcohol treatment programs required
Experience in Behavioral Health Services preferred.
Knowledge of Pennsylvania Bureau of Drug and Alcohol rules and regulations preferred
Knowledge of Delaware Division of Substance and Mental Health rules and regulations helpful
Familiar with the ASAM criteria
Familiar with current health care reform models
Strong operational and organizational skills
Extensive community relations work will be required
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work evenings and weekends
To maintain the position, the Vice President is required to conform to any training requirements issued by licensing agencies in Pennsylvania
