We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem-Vascular Technician.
In this role, the successful candidate Under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Chief of Surgery or designee, the Vascular Technician performs noninvasive vascular testing on inpatients and outpatients to aid in the evaluation of arterial, venous and lymphatic disorders
Schedules patient tests and maintains a log of completed exams.
Reviews questionable results with Laboratory Director.
Submits test results to the appropriate physician for interpretation and signature.
Ensures that official interpretation of test results are forwarded to nursing units of referring physicians within the standard hospital turnaround time.
Maintains all equipment and material in proper order in compliance with the hospital policy and procedure. Maintain orderly and safe laboratory are as per departmental policy.
Ensures that all patient files are kept in compliance with the Hospital Policies and Procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma and certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program. Registration/registration eligible for the American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
Bachelor of Science Degree and Active RDMS registry
