Administrative Secretary will provide administrative support to WSE's Office of the Dean. Responsibilities include office reception, calendaring, and assisting with special projects (as assigned).
Specific duties & responsibilities:
Greet and direct all guests entering the office
Answer and screen telephone calls, record messages with attention to detail, relay messages
Stock and maintain both the office supply room and kitchen
Sort and distribute mail
Send out Courier mail (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Pick up and deliver materials as required
Maintain calendars and schedule appointments and meeting rooms
Submit travel and expense reimbursement and online payment requests, and purchase orders in SAP
Assist with special event planning and coordination including meetings, orientation, commencement, seminars, etc. Includes ordering food, preparing materials, reserving rooms, and working with vendors and I.T. for deliveries, set up, and audiovisual arrangements.

Minimum qualifications (mandatory):
High School Diploma/GED and two years of related experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by JHU equivalency formula.
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Proficiency in operating personal computer to access email, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software and applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and/or reports.
Ability to operate office equipment such as photocopier, fax machine, and calculator.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be well-organized and able to manage time effectively
