The Achieving College/Career Excellence through Student Success (ACCESS) grant initiative is currently seeking tutorial assistants (Math and English/Reading). Tutorial Assistants will work to support students during summer programs and after school programs at grant schools in Baltimore City and Prince George's County Public School Districts.
In addition to the aforementioned, ACCESS Tutorial Assistants will:
Commit to tutoring 1 -4 hours per week,
Develop rapport with students and establish a positive learning environment,
Evaluate and document student progress,
Communicate student progress and concerns to the Site Project Coordinator, and
Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning, as well as the ACCESS initiatives
Interested individuals should maintain a bachelor's degree in related content areas or be currently enrolled at a college/university pursuing a degree in related subjects.
