Act as an internal Business Development Consultant who provides guidance and support to designated region/entity.
Supports the development of strategic and operational improvement recommendations on a quarterly basis to support the planning/capital processes and service line development.
Proactively identify problems and solutions for process improvement efforts.
Supports regional leadership on matters involving strategic planning and business cases.
Generates reports, prepares and designs spreadsheets and presentations as requested that analyze key trends, service lines, market share, competitor comparisons, hospital/health system performance, physician performance and/or utilization trends.
Researches, evaluates and develops models to help answer a business question. Presents and get buy-in from stakeholders and manages the implementation in the region in a timely manner.
Understands regional functions and is aware of process flow across departments, and involves them as appropriate in project work. Works closely with multiple regional, entity/network departments.
Collaborates with team members to determine the appropriate approach to meet the customer's needs. Provides leadership and direction by working closely with the regional and entity leaders to obtain an in-depth understanding of their needs.
Supports a service-oriented culture within the organization.
Shares in departmental operational duties, and collaborates willingly with other staff members to complete tasks outside of normal job duties when requested.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration, or a related field of study
3 to 5 years of experience required
Must have spreadsheet, database and report design skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a timely fashion.
Experience with analytical tools including Microsoft Excel and Access, SAP, SQL.
Will consider experience outside of health care such as informatics, consulting, business development and others.
Master's Degree preferred
